Funeral services for James Robert Corry, Jr., 73, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 9, 2011, at Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Solomon and Rev. Calton Yeager officiating. Interment with Masonic Graveside Service will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mr. Corry, a retired pharmaceutical representative, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011. He was a member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church, William Baker Masonic Lodge, Western Star Masonic Lodge #24 (Master 2006), Walker George Masonic Lodge #467, KCCH in Scottish Rites, Red Cross of Constantine in the York Rites, Harry M. Lemert High Twelve, Barak Shrine Temple, Orders of the Easter Star, Louise L. McGuire Chapter 4 and Mer Rouge Chapter 148. Mr. Corry was also a U. S. Army veteran.

Jim’s life was one of service to others and a true devotion to family and charitable organizations.
